Rising League India (“we”, “us”, or “the Association”), a non-profit registered under the Societies Registration Act, is dedicated to promoting sports, fitness, and related activities across India, with a focus on Jammu & Kashmir. This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for engaging with our Association and the Privacy Policy governing the collection, use, and protection of personal information, aligned with our Memorandum of Association (MOA). Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

Engaging with Rising League India implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, governed by Indian law with jurisdiction in Jammu & Kashmir courts.

Membership

  • Membership categories include General Members (individuals interested in sports and fitness), Student Members (school/college students registered under the Association), Athlete Members (sports persons actively participating in events), Institutional Members (schools, academies, or organizations supporting the objectives), and Honorary Members (eminent persons nominated by the Governing Body).
  • Admission requires Governing Body approval and acceptance of our aims and objectives.
  • Membership fees, if any, are set by the Governing Body and subject to change.
  • Membership may be suspended or terminated for misconduct or activities against the Association’s interests.

Rights and Obligations

  • Members may participate in meetings, programs, and activities, with voting rights (except student members below 18 years).
  • Members must uphold the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and integrity, refraining from anti-national, violent, or drug-related activities.

Event Participation

Participation in leagues, tournaments, or programs requires registration and compliance with safety and conduct rules set by the Governing Body, including the Code of Conduct, Eligibility Rules, Anti-Doping Regulations, Safety Protocols, Fair Play Principles, and National Sports Policies outlined on our website.

Limitation of Liability

The Association is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from events, except in cases of gross negligence.

Amendments

These Terms may be amended by a 2/3rd majority vote of the General Body, subject to approval of the Registrar of Societies.

Dissolution

In the event of dissolution, the Association’s assets and liabilities shall be disposed of as per the Memorandum of Association (Clause VIII).

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We collect personal information to fulfill MOA objectives, including:

  • Personal details (name, contact, ID documents).
  • Membership data (category, institution details).
  • Financial data (fees, donations).
  • Event data (registration, health info if relevant).

Use of Information

Used for membership management, event organization, financial operations, communication, governance, analytics, and legal compliance.

Sharing of Information

Shared with Governing Body, service providers, partners, or as required by law. No selling or renting of data; international transfers comply with the DPDP Act.

Data Security

Secured with encryption, access controls, and secure storage at Qaimoh, Kulgam. Breaches will be reported as per legal requirements.

Your Rights

Access, correct, withdraw consent, or request erasure of data, subject to legal retention. Contact us to exercise rights.

Retention

Data retained for operational, governance (3-year terms), or legal purposes (e.g., 7 years for audits), with inactive data archived or deleted.

Changes to Policy

Amendments reflect legal or operational changes, notified via website or members, with continued engagement implying acceptance.
